To Mark International Women’s Day 2018
 
The 14th IAWRT Asian Women’s Film Festival: 5 to 7 March 2018
The 14th edition of the festival will show case the work of women filmmakers of Asian origin, living anywhere in the world. The festival brings together a collection of 74 films from 21 countries, a curated section on animated films and a curated section on students’ films and experimental films that cut across genres and have narratives that can reshape the way we imagine cinema to be. The festival includes a camera and sound workshop Camera, Sound and Action, three interactive sessions with renowned filmmakers,  in Filmy Addas; and two seminars – Weaving Peace – A Woman’s Perspective which will highlight women’s transformative role in peace building by sharing their own experiences as well as of others across the world; and Voice Studio to understand the many voices of protest which have emerged, from amongst the youth in India
 
Organised in collaboration with International Association of Women in Radio &Television, India Chapter; Goethe Institut/Max Mueller Bhavan; Embassy of Israel; The Japan Foundation; Korean Cultural Centre, New Delhi; ActionAid; WISCOMP; Cinestaan; and with the support of ONGC
 
Screenings will be held in the Auditorium on 5, 6 and 7 March 2018 from 09:00 onwards. Filmmakers from India, Japan, South Korea, Israel, Myanmar and Bangladesh will be present to join in post-screening discussions
