Sohrab Modi’s acclaimed film based on the life of the well-known poet Mirza Ghalib.  The film depicts an episode in the life of Ghalib during the reign of the last Mughal Emperor, Bahadur Shah Zafar. It tells the story of Ghalib’s love and admiration for Moti Begum, who he named "Chaudhvin" (moon-faced)
