An Asian Basket
Start Date
17 September 2020, 12:00 am
Asia is the largest continent in the world and is home to many cultures and cuisines. The cuisines vary from Southeast Asian, Central Asian and Middle Eastern food to name a few. Although vastly different and distinct from each other, Asian cuisine also shares some common features. Ingredients such as rice, ginger, garlic, chilies, soy and sesame seeds are used in almost all Asian cuisines. Cooking practices like steaming and stir frying are some other common features. The IIC has made special arrangements to prepare “An Asian Basket” from 19th September (Saturday) to 23rd September 2020 (Wednesday) (05 days) for its Members. These items shall be served in addition to the regular menu in the Dining Hall and Lounge, and can also be booked in advance as “Take Away” items.
