Members will be pleased to know that IIC’s popular Weekend Cuisine, with its variety of Indian and International fare, will be functional from Saturday, 20th August 2022 to Sunday, 21st August 2022. The Take-away counter will function as before. To make it more convenient for Members, there is now a facility for online orders and payment as well. This weekend, we bring you Awadhi cuisine, famous for its magical blending of spices, slow-fire cooking (dum pukht) and its seasonal harmony with nature.
In Awadh, the best foods were rich and royal cooks took special pride not only in the taste and texture of their creations, but in their ability to astound and amaze their patrons. Even though these culinary extravagances have gone the way of the Awadhi court itself, the spirit of that extravagances, the civility, graciousness and much of that remarkable cuisine still remain. This weekend, treat yourself to a taste of that gracious age with some authentic dishes prepared by the IIC Kitchens. IIC will be serving the special menu on 20th & 21st August 2022. These items shall be served in addition to the regular take away/dine in menu.
