Film on the life of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia from his student years, development of his ideological orientation during his studies in Germany, return to India and participation in the freedom movement led by the Congress Party, especially his role in the Quit India Movement of 1942-46. After independence Lohia launched his socialist politics against the Congress Government as also several agitations from 1947-67 including the liberation struggle of Goa. His participation in various elections particularly against Nehru and his thesis of Non-Congressism and formation of the SVD Governments in 1967
