World Environment Day, which is falls on 5th June, aims to create awareness about Ecosystem Restoration, the theme for the year. This year, the World Environment Day campaign marks society’s unified and digital response to the marine environment crisis. The discussion is an awareness programme on how we can safeguard it post COVID-19. There is a need to prioritize science and technology to find solutions to handle the increasing COVID-19 waste and take restorative actions to protect marine bio-resources.
