This film was made between April 1979 and the end of 1980, three years after Franco's death. During those months, the directors tried to reflect the feelings and opinions of the street after the transition from dictatorship to democracy. As well as the conflicts that threatened democratic normalization and that culminated in the coup attempt on February 23, 1981, shortly after the film ended.
