India is home to the largest number of homeless people in the world. There are an estimated 70 million homeless and destitute in India. This film focuses on the work of Koshish, the field action project of Tata Institute of Social Sciences and raises important questions on the Bombay Beggary Prevention Act, 1959. 

Screening will be followed by a discussion on Addressing Homelessness – Towards an Inclusive Society

-    Physical programmes will be held as per the Covid -19 guidelines with 50% seating capacity in C.D. Deshmukh Auditorium and Multipurpose Hall, Kamaladevi Complex.

-    Audiences are requested to arrive at the venues, at least 30 minutes prior to the programmes in order to facilitate the screening process at the Door
