Piano Recital

Acclaimed Moroccan and Hungarian pianist, Marouan Benabdallah returns to Delhi with a thrilling programme on piano music from the Arab world. Since launching the Arabesque Project in 2014 with the aim of researching and presenting classical composers from the Arab world, Maestro Benabdallah has discovered over 100 composers from various countries of the region. These authors, mostly unknown to the wider public, create a unique musical language that blends western and oriental musical traditions

 

At this concert, the artist will present works by composers from Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, and also from Turkey and Iran along with works by Khachaturian, Debussy and Liszt
