Yoga in the 21st Century: The BARPS Method

Illustrated lecture by Navtej Singh Johar

BARPS method is a five-step, self-regulatory practice involving bracing, aligning, rotation, poise and stretch. The BARPS method is a means to insulate the practice of asana from the ideas of Yoga that abound today, and steer the focus back upon the body which is innately intelligent and is endowed with supreme sensitivity and integrity.

Navtej Johar will offer an introductory talk on the BARPS method that he has devised over years of practice, learning and teaching
