Solo exhibition by Anup Shrivastava, contemporary artist from Dhar, Madhya Pradesh. He has held numerous solo exhibitions across India and participated in national and international exhibitions.

Rang Mela celebrates the vibrant colours, cultural traditions and festive spirit of the tribal communities of the Malwa and Nimar regions. Inspired by the Bhagoria festival, the exhibition captures the energy of tribal fairs, folk traditions and everyday life.

The exhibition will be inaugurated on Tuesday 1st September’26 at 18:00 hrs

The photographs explore the beauty and significance of lives, places, and ideas that often go unnoticed. Through visual narratives by contemporary artists, the exhibition reflects on ordinary people and unseen worlds whose stories reveal resilience, conviction, and human connection.

NEO, URBAN, AVATAR: A Mythopoesis of the Contemporary Times-II

The exhibition presents a body of drawing-based paintings that explore the fragmented realities of contemporary urban existence. Rooted in Indian aesthetic traditions yet shaped by a globalized and technologized visual culture, the works weave together mythology, memory, satire, consumerism and environmental traces into an evolving contemporary mythscape.

Birendra Pani, contemporary artist whose practice is shaped by his movement across geographies and cultural landscapes. Drawing from Indian visual traditions, folk and performative forms, and contemporary urban imagery, his works construct layered visual narratives that reflect on identity and the changing human condition.

Gond Pradhans of Patangarh: A Dynamic New Art Taking Roots

This exhibition explores the vibrant artistic practices of the Gond Pradhans of Patangarh, whose visual language emerged through the transformation of oral traditions, songs, myths and musical memories into imagery. Initiated by the pioneering artist Jangarh Singh Shyam, the movement dissolves boundaries between imagination and reality, nature and myth, creating a fluid and deeply rooted contemporary tribal visual tradition.
Featuring work by 21 Patangarh-based Gond Pradhan artists whose practices continue and expand the artistic legacy initiated by Jangarh Singh Shyam.

The exhibition traces Anamika’s shift from delicate watercolours to expansive acrylic canvases, drawing from her journey between Muzaffarpur’s quiet ponds and urban Delhi. Using fish as metaphors for human consciousness and survival, her works reflect emotional fragility, social currents, and the enduring need for connection. Root and branch motifs further evoke the grounding force of culture and relationships, inviting viewers to reflect on identity, belonging, and the deeper ties that sustain us.

Echoes of the Earth: A Woodcut Diary, exhibition of woodcut prints by Raja Boro

The exhibition reflects a practice rooted in memory, material, and nature. Raised in rural Assam, his surroundings continue to shape his visual language. Trained in printmaking at Santiniketan and MSU Baroda, his woodcuts translate the rhythms and textures of the natural world into a meditative and tactile artistic expression.

The artist will be giving a curatorial walkthrough and demonstration of the woodcut printing technique on Saturday, 18 April at 12:00 for the students from Oxford Cambridge Society of India – OCSI. There will be a workshop on Woodcut Printmaking & Curatorial Walkthrough with Sign Language Interpreters for Hearing Impaired IIC members and the students of Noida Deaf Society on Tuesday, 21 April at 11:30

On 23 April at Thursday, 16:30, The Varshita Young Artist Award Ceremony by Chief Guest, Ashok Vajpeyi, will be followed by a panel discussion on ‘Printmaking in the Artworld Today. Poet and Essayist Prayag Shukla will be giving a curatorial walkthrough on Monday, 27 April. A film screening titled ‘The way I see-Yusuf’ is scheduled for Wednesday, 29 April at 16:30 followed by a panel discussion on printmaking.

Threaded Heritage: Symbolism, Ritual and Memory in North East Textiles

The exhibition explores how textiles function as a visual language expressing cultural iconography, identity, and belonging. Patterns, motifs, and colours convey narratives of cosmology, kinship, and land. Through ceremonial and sacred cloths, textiles also mark life’s transitions, becoming living archives of memory and cultural continuity.

The exhibition will be accompanied by live-demonstrations by weavers from the Northeast at the gallery.

Samanvaya: Line · Colour · Form brings together eminent contemporary artists working across painting, printmaking, and sculpture. The exhibition is presented by Delhi Art Society. Delhi Art Society (DAS) was founded with the vision of creating a meaningful dialogue between art and the public sphere, with a strong emphasis on public art.
