Zarzuela is a Spanish lyric – a dramatic genre that alternates between spoken and sung scenes, the latter incorporating operatic and popular songs, as well as dance

 

The comic journey of three Spaniards from Madrid to Aleppo and then to Baroda, in a quest for identity, and, more importantly, in search of the marvelous treasures of the Orient. The zarzuela encapsulates the dream that was the orient and showcases a wide cast of characters. All the arias, duets and quartet will be in Spanish with the dialogues in English
