Khusrau Darya Prem Ka is a modern-day docu-drama that tries to understand the 14th century poet-composer, Amir Khusrau Dehlavi. The film uses the dramatic technique of dastan goi by Ankit Chadha to narrate Khusrau’s story and
Rene Singh who essays the role of a musician hoping to learn more about the poet. The film also uses some renderings of Khusrau’s popular poetry in the voices of traditional qawwals such as Mohammad Ahmed Warsi and Farid Ayaz and Urdu-Persian calligraphy by Anis Siddiqui

Sam Nujoma is a Namibian revolutionary, anti-apartheid activist who served as the first President of Namibia from 1990 to 2005. He was a founding member of the South-West Africa People’s Organisation (SWAPO) and was appointed its first president in 1960. He played a pivotal role as leader of the national liberation movement in campaigning for Namibia’s independence from South African rule
