Seminar and exhibition to commemorate the fiftieth death anniversary of one of the most famous Hungarian Indologists, noted for popularizing Indian culture in Hungary. He wrote extensively on India including several scholarly and popular books, and papers concerning India (including books on his visits to India, on Mahatma Gandhi, Rabindranath Tagore, Alexander Csoma de Körös); on Indian philosophy, yoga; and published a great volume on the history of Indian art.
