Brief of the Position
(1) Essential Qualification Intermediate or 12th Passed
ITI in Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Trade from any recognized Institution.
(2) Desirable Qualification Knowledge of Computer Applications.
(3) Experience
1. Independently handling shifts in Engineering or Maintenance Dept. maintaining all Log Books, carrying out Planned Preventive Maintenance.
2. DG Operation, Change-over;
3. HVAC Systems – Air-conditioning Plant – Operation & Maint
a. Understanding of parameters, O & M of Chillers, Cooling Towers, Running of Softeners,
b. AHU, FCUs, Air Washers, Exhaust Blowers, TFAs
c. HVAC related pumps maintenance
d. Operation & Maintenance of PNG/HSD/Electrical Boilers/PHEs
e. Servicing & trouble shooting of window and split ACs.
4. Electrical Systems
a. Knowledge of Transformers, HT, LT systems, ACBs, OCBs, VCBs
b. Power Factor Panels,
c. Knowledge Motor – Single phase and 3 Phase
d. Motor Starters - Star – Delta Starter,
5. Kitchen Machinery and System –
a. Knowledge of Indian & imported kitchen machineries, its maintenance and repairs,
b. Maintenance & repairs of Walk-in and Reach-in refrigerators
6. Fire Alarms and Fighting Systems – Auto operation.
15 to 20 years of overall Experience
Minimum 15 years’ experience in hospitality industry with reputed institutions.

This is particularly true in regions like Asia and the Pacific and consistently affects vulnerable populations the most. Fortunately, amidst these challenges lies a powerful and often underutilised solution – biodiversity. Nature-based solutions (NBS) offer a promising pathway to combat urban heat while delivering a myriad of co-benefits for climate resilience and sustainable living. The discussion will explore the latest research, practical applications, and policy frameworks that leverage biodiversity as a transformative tool for cooling cities, enhancing urban resilience, and supporting sustainable socioeconomic development.
