12 November* commemorates the day on which Mahatma Gandhi made his first and only live broadcast on All India Radio in 1947 and addressed more than two lakhs of refugees at a camp in Kurukshetra from Broadcasting House, New Delhi. Since 2000, this day is commemorated as Public Service Broadcasting Day

We welcome you to a unique and eagerly anticipated annual feature at the IIC, The IIC Experience: A Festival of the Arts. From 27th October to 2nd November 2023, the Centre is magically transformed, with its inner and outer spaces decorated with flowers and rangoli, and lit up with lamps and candles every evening. Along with the finest exhibitions of photography, folk and installation art, there will be performances of dance and music and theatre, and screenings of award-winning international films through the day.  But no Festival is complete without the fine-dining experience at the end of each day.

This year’s Food Festival brings you outstanding Indian and International cuisines prepared by renowned chefs from India.  The choices are derived from the theme of India’s Presidency of G-20. Each cuisine has elaborate menu designed by these Chefs and promises to be a sublime end to a wonderful day-long Experience.

Celebrate the season of festivals and perfect weather at The IIC Experience with your family and friends. Take in a performance of your choice, or watch a film, and complete the evening with a gourmet dinner in the tastefully appointed venue at the Rose Garden.
