Dear Member,

 

The sale of Application Forms for Short Term Associate Membership (STAM) for the FY 2022-23 will commence from 1st July 2022.  

 

2.       In our efforts to reduce paper usage and go digital, it has been decided that the Application Forms would be made available online only.  Desirous applicants can visit the IIC Website at the home page.  The details of the procedure to fill up the online application including the payment gateway to deposit the cost of the application form can also be viewed online at  http://stam.iicdelhi.in

 

3.       A Member may propose/second a maximum of three Applications of persons whom they have known for significant periods and consider them truly eligible for membership of the Centre. If a Member is found to have proposed/seconded more than three Applications, the excess number of applications (beyond 3) proposed/seconded by him/her shall not be considered valid. 

 

4.       The recommendations of the Proposer and Seconder can also be submitted by email through their email Ids registered with the IIC mentioning the Application Number.

The lecture-demonstration endeavours to take a look at the styles and kinds of music written for and performed by the guitar at different stages of the development of the instrument and through the different eras.

Theophilus Benjamin is one of the relatively few classical guitarists in the country who has had the distinction of having performed at various notable venues across the country. His primary focus is in the field of music education and he has been associated with some of the well-known academic institutions in the country as well as with some of the premier music schools in different parts of India

A dastangoi on the painter, S.H. Raza’s journey from a small village in Madhya Pradesh to the pinnacle of international fame. It describes the ferment of the Bombay of the 1940s, the formation of the Progressive Artists Group, Raza’s early days in France, his passionate love for Janine Mongillat, his trilingual love for poetry, and his search for Truth through Hinduism, Islam and Christianity.

Neurological disorders do set in with advancing age among certain people. The most common neurological diseases in the elderly are lumbar arthrosis, Alzheimer’s type (vascular), Parkinson’s disease and polyneuropathy. Stroke and dementia can also be counted among them. Many of these conditions can very well be taken care of if detected in the initial stages with proper diagnosis and appropriate treatment. How to diagnose, delay the onset of such conditions and proper management will be part of the presentation
