In Plain Sight
In Plain Sight arises from a sustained engagement with moments in which the mundane unexpectedly acquires the qualities of fantasy. Through the act of photographing the everyday is recognised and how it quietly reveals an extraordinary dimension. By bringing these images into the exhibition space, this act of witnessing extends to the audience. They are invited to encounter the familiar anew, and to perceive the fantastical elements that reside within the ordinary.
Iman Sengupta is a visual artist and art director whose work blends fine art, design, and advertising. A LASALLE College of the Arts graduate, he is currently Senior Art Director at Havas Creative, with awards from GOAFEST, and the Takifuji Art Award.
Inauguration of the exhibition on 8 November at 18:00
