Notice regarding Wheelchair/ Physical assistance to members

Notice regarding Wheelchair/ Physical assistance to members
Start Date
20 July 2023, 12:00 pm

Notice

It has been observed that the vehicles coming to the Main Centre carrying members and guests/visitors who require wheelchair/ physical assistance, affect the smooth flow of vehicular traffic near the alighting point.  Facilitation of wheelchair/ physical assistance to them during the high-volume traffic leads to hold up.

In order to address this issue, it is now been decided that the vehicles carrying members and guests/ visitors requiring wheelchair/ physical assistance will be allowed to enter the Main Centre through Gate No.3 (Joseph Stein Lane).  They may be facilitated to alight near the lobby gate of Library.  Such an arrangement will be more convenient to such members and guests/ visitors and at the same time facilitate uninterrupted flow of vehicular traffic from Gate No.2.

We propose to implement this arrangement from the  1st August 2023.

Secretary
