“Special Millets” Member’s Dinner at India International Centre on 29/4/23


With the aim to create awareness and increase the production and consumption of millets, United Nations, at the behest of the Government of India, has declared 2023 the International Year of Millets. 

IIC has undertaken several initiatives in this regard and has introduced Millets in our catering menus. The Catering team has undergone special training to familiarize them with how to handle Millets and we hope to incorporate more changes in the near future.

Earlier in the year, a Millets lunch was organised which was well received by our esteemed Members. In continuation of our endeavours to promote this forgotten health food, the Centre in collaboration with FSSAI & HUL is organizing “Feasting with Millets” on 29th April 2023, to showcase traditional and contemporary menus and recipes. A Member’s subscription dinner will be held in the Multipurpose Hall, Kamaladevi Complex from 19.30 onwards. There will also be an exhibition on Millets in the Foyer adjoining the Multipurpose Hall.

We invite all Members along with their family members to support this initiative and make it a success.
