Dear Member, Festivals and food go hand in hand, and so for this year’s celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi, we bring you the unique and fabled cuisine of the Bhonsles of Thanjavur. This small diaspora, known for their immense contribution in fostering the arts, music and literature, brought in their own cuisine in a fashion so subtle that it permeated the atmosphere, creating a unique tradition in the region.
