Kolkata Diaries
Start Date
16 December 2021, 12:00 am

The Bengali’s passion for football is only rivalled by his passion for food: fish, rice—and sweets. So much so that most Bengalis are said to treat Bengali cuisine on par with other world cuisines! What we know as typical Bengali food is more often the fare that was developed over time in West Bengal, with Kolkata as its epicentre. This weekend, IIC Chefs will delight you with an authentic spread that includes traditional mustard fish curry and mutton masala, accompanied by starters, a variety of vegetables and dals, and soft luchis. IIC will be serving the special Bengali menu from 17th to 19th December. These items shall be served in addition to the regular menu in the Dining Hall and Lounge, and also can be booked on prior demand as ‘Takeaway’ items.
