Italian cuisine combines the health benefits of the Mediterranean diet with a wide choice of seasonal ingredients and regional flavours. It relies on fresh ingredients cooked on the spot and a combination of vegetables, grains, fruits, and seafood, fish, meat and olive oil. The cuisine of Goa is an extraordinary amalgam of Portuguese and local sensibilities. Traditional Goan staple was that of fish curry and rice, but under the influence of the Portuguese there developed a cuisine that combined the flavours of India and Iberia. Goan cuisine, like the land itself, has many flavours and tastes with its vast treasure trove of culinary delicacies. IIC has made special arrangements to serve “Goan Fiesta” from 26th September (Saturday) to 28th September 2020 (Monday) (03 days) for its members.
