Dear Sir,
 

1. Sealed Tender is invited for the supply of items against the above-mentioned category of the contract for the period 01 June 2020 to 31 March 2021.
2. You may quote for the items to be supplied as per Annexure-A, One Rate, without preconditions. All pages of the Tender form are to be stamped and signed.
3. Bidder can download the document and further amendments, from the IIC website(www.iicdelhi.in) and submit the same to IIC in a sealed envelope super-scribing on it “Tender for SUPPLY OF FRESH FRUIT AND VEGETABLES” so as to reach “Purchase Officer, India International Centre, 40, Max Mueller Marg, New Delhi 110003” on or before 11^th  May, 2020 at 17:00 Hrs. Validity of quoted rates will be for 90 days.
4. The rates should be quoted neatly both in figures and in words.  In case of discrepancy in the rates quoted in words and figures, rates quoted in words shall prevail.
5. Check list provided in the Tender form is mandatory to be filled by the vendor by attaching all the required documents as asked for. Rates will be reviewed and revised, every quarter based on prevalent prices in the Market.
6. Please note that the Centre reserves the right to accept or reject any of the Tender in part or whole or all the Tenders without assigning any reason, nor is it bound to accept the lowest quotation & to divide the same between a number of suppliers without any liability on its part.
7. Late, incomplete, conditional, false, fictitious tenders or Tenders without deposit will be summarily rejected. Samples as required for checking at the Centre will be supplied by the vendor free of cost.
8. All Tenders should comply with the provision of New Food Safety and Standards Act 2006.
9. Please read the detailed terms and conditions, which form part of this tender document at Annexure-B, as the same are to be accepted by the Tenderer. 

Dear Member,
 

1. Vide its order dated 15 April 2020 the Govt. of India has extended the lockdown upto 03 May 2020 throughout the country and has also issued fresh guidelines. It has also stipulated various preventive measures to contain the spread of Covid-19 pandemic. Consequently IIC has also decided to continue with the closure of its facilities till 03 May 2020.
    
2. Assuming that the situation may ease by middle of May 2020, the centre has tentatively planned the following:
   1. Resume conduct of programs from 18 May 2020.
   2. Accept bookings for Hostel rooms from 18 May 2020.
   3. Open Library, Lounge and Dining Hall of Main centre from 18 May 2020 subject to the social distancing norm.
       
3. A final decision on the stipulations at para 2 supra shall be taken on the 04 May 2020, keeping in view the guidelines and regulations of the Central Govt. and Delhi Govt.

Please refer to our earlier notices and the fresh guidelines received from the GoI and the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD) vide their order dated 24 March, 2020 notifying lockdown in the whole of the territorial jurisdiction of the Delhi for 21 days starting from 25 Mar 20 to 14 Apr 20 stipulating preventive measures to contain the spread of COVID-19 epidemic.

2. In view of the above notifications, it has been decided to continue with the closure of all facilities at the Centre till 14 Apr 20.

3. This decision would be reviewed on 14 Apr 2020 based on the Govt guidelines and prevalent situation.

1. The Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD) vide their order dated 22^nd March, 2020 have notified a lockdown in the whole of the territorial jurisdiction of the Delhi from 06:00 Hrs. on Monday, 23^rd March, 2020 to midnight of Tuesday, 31^st March, 2020, stipulating various restrictions including closure of the shops, commercial establishments, factories, workshops, offices, godowns, weekly bazars etc.
    
2. In view of the above, it has been decided to close all facilities at the Centre including the bakery outlet and provision of take away food.
    
3. This decision would be reviewed on 31^st March, 2020.
    
4. We regret inconvenience caused to our esteemed members and appreciate their continued support.

Dear Member,
 
          With the increasing health concerns relating to Covid-19 and the advisory issued by the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi, it has been decided to close the Library from 23^rd to 31^st March 2020.  This measure is being taken in the interest of Members and we regret the inconvenience caused. 
 
          A review regarding re-opening of the Library would be taken on 31^st March 2020.
 
 
 

 
 
The Government of India (GoI) and the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD) have issued fresh advisories on 19.03.2020 in regard to persisting threat from the outbreak of Covid-19 (Corona Virus).  In view of these advisories, the Centre has decided the following:
 

1. The Annexe Complex of the Centre shall remain closed till 31.03.2020. 
2. The Dining Hall, Lounge, Bar and all other catering venues at the Main Centre shall remain closed till 31.03.2020.  However, the Main Kitchen shall remain functional to cater to limited menu items for servicing the guests in the Hostel and to provide take-away facilities to the Members. 
3. The Library shall function from 9.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. on all days during March 2020 except on Sundays (22^nd & 29^th March 2020). 
4. The GoI and GNCTD have advised citizens above 65 years age to remain at home.  Hence, Members above 65 years age are requested to keep these advisories in mind and avoid visiting the Centre till 31^st March 2020.

 
 

 
 
Postponement of Annual General Body Meeting (AGBM) scheduled to be held on  31^st March 2020
 
Consequent to the outbreak of Covid-19 (Corona Virus), the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD) has advised against gathering of 50 or more persons being held, up to 31^st March 2020.
 
In the foregoing context, it has been decided to postpone the 64^th Annual General Body Meeting (AGBM) which was scheduled to be held at 5.30 pm on Tuesday the 31^st March 2020 in the Main Auditorium, IIC. 
 
We shall review the situation in the first week of April 2020 and, other things being equal, intimate the fresh date for the Annual General Body Meeting.
 
We regret the inconvenience caused to Members.
 
   

 
To curtail the spread of Corona Virus (COVID – 19) we request Members to please note the following:
 

• All Members and their guests may please have their temperature checked when they enter the Centre’s premises.  Facilities for checking temperature through Infra-Red Thermal Guns have been made available at the Reception in the Auditorium Foyer, and at the entrance of the Lounge.  In the Annexe, our staff shall be positioned in the Reception.   
• Hand sanitisers have been placed at all the venues for the use of Members and their guests. 
• Members and their guests are requested to follow respiratory hygiene and cover their mouth and nose with bent elbow or tissue while coughing or sneezing. 
• Members and their guests, who have recently returned from abroad are requested to please not visit IIC till 31^st March 2020. 
• It has been decided not to levy any penalty for cancellation of bookings till 31^st March 2020.
