Goan Fiesta

The cuisine of Goa is an extraordinary amalgam of Portuguese and local sensibilities. Traditional Goan staple was that of fish curry and rice, but under the influence of the Portuguese there developed a cuisine that combined the flavours of India and Iberia. So fish and meat pies were baked with slit green chillies-assado and roast cooked with cinnamon and peppercorns; and pao or bread was fermented with toddy. Goan cuisine, like the land itself, has many flavours and tastes with its vast treasure trove of culinary delicacies. IIC has made special arrangements to serve “Goan Fiesta” from 26th September (Saturday) to 28th September 2020 (Monday) (03 days) for its members. In addition, our bakery chef will also be presenting special “Italian forno items” at the confectionary counter for Italian food lovers.
